Role: Series Brand & Campaign Lead
A ten-film series presented in September 2023, Contra/Banned explored censorship and artistic freedom through films that had been challenged or suppressed. The campaign focused on reaching student audiences, increasing ticket sales, and driving membership purchases. Developed the series visual identity, implemented a multi-channel marketing strategy, produced all promotional assets, and managed email, social, and advertising placements to maximize engagement.
Outcomes
- Achieved the highest monthly membership renewal surge in a 12-month period
- Recorded the highest ticket pre-sales of the fiscal year
- Strengthened community partnerships with Revolution Brewing, the Freedom to Read Foundation, and the American Library Association
